Experience and Personnel All HTE personnel assigned to a landfill project are experienced in the various phases of landfill engineering including performance of hydrogeologic studies and evaluation of the environmental impact of landfills, preparation of interim and final operating guidelines, closure plans, closure construction administration and inspection, long-term operation and maintenance plans, and design of remedial measures to mitigate environmental impacts of landfills. HTE professional in-house engineering staff have the ability and experience to perform all landfill project coordination, management and technical functions. HTE's technical staff of professionals are experienced in the many facets of landfill investigation and design. These in-house capabilities include general civil, environmental, geotechnical engineering; geology; hydrogeology; hydrology; and environmental compliance. With this experience, we are able to perform detailed hydrogeological studies, design landfill closure systems and provide construction phase inspection and administration services. Top of Page Ability to Perform Work Within Required Time Frame HTE has repeatedly demonstrated to our clients our ability to perform solid waste investigations, closure design and construction inspection within restricted time schedules. HTE has the personnel and equipment to respond, as necessary, to particular project requirements. Field Exploration Services HTE has extensive experience with subsurface explorations for solid waste sites. Local qualified subcontractors and consultants are selected based on capabilities and geographical location to minimize mobilization costs. Subsurface explorations are directed and observed by HTE's geotechnical engineering or geologist personnel. HTE has extensive experience with EPA and State-certified water quality and chemical laboratories. In order to obtain the highest quality testing, competitive costs and rapid turn-around, HTE utilizes qualified laboratories after consultation with individual laboratory personnel. Industrial Hygiene A site specific health and safety plan is developed by HTE for each project. Staff performing field activities for each project have the appropriate level of health and safety training. Top of Page RCRA, TSCA and CERCLA Experience HTE has in depth knowledge and extensive experience with Federal and State environmental statutes including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Toxic Substances Control Act, Comprehensive Environmental response Compensation and Liability Act, National Environmental Policy Act and DOD Safety Regulations. Quality Control Plan Quality control for each project consists of technical reviews performed by a principle of the firm. Technical reviews are performed at various critical times throughout the project schedule. Personnel assignments for specific projects are made based on the technical considerations of the particular project.
